How we work

Every report on SonicBet follows the same documented process, from the choice of topic to the date shown under the byline. This page sets it out, including the parts done by software.

How do we choose what to report on?

Topics come from search demand data: the questions people actually type about casino games, such as which video poker pay table is best or what the zero does to roulette odds. We pick the question first, then the rule, variant or pay table that answers it.

Where do the facts come from?

From primary documents, not from other casino sites. For table and machine games that usually means:

  • Published game rules and regulator texts. The official rules for roulette, baccarat and other table games that gaming regulators publish, such as state casino control rules in the United States, which fix pocket layouts, payouts, drawing rules and commission. These come first.
  • Pay tables. The pay tables printed on video poker machines and in game help screens, which decide the return.
  • Published probability and return figures. Hand probabilities, house edges and returns with optimal strategy from published mathematical analyses, which any reader can recompute from the rules.
  • Operator terms. A casino's own terms and game rules, when a report covers how a game is offered there.

New reports end with a list headed "Documents we read". Older reports in the register came out of an earlier workflow and carry no such list.

How are reports drafted?

Drafts are written with the help of AI writing tools, working to a brief and to the documents gathered for that report. The draft may only state what the documents support. Worked examples, such as an edge derived from 37 pockets or a return computed from a pay table line, are arithmetic anyone can repeat.

What is checked before a report is filed?

Automated checks run on every report before publication. They look for a source behind each claim, test that links work, and compare the figures and dates in the report against its documents. A report that fails is held back until it passes. We do not claim human expert review, and we do not play the games or deposit with operators for a report. Words such as tested, bench and reading on this site describe that desk research.

How do operator verdicts work?

The readings and verdicts on our operator sheet are editorial judgements based on what each operator publishes: its licence, bonus terms, deposit minimums and payment methods. They are not the result of play, deposits or hands-on testing.

How do corrections work?

If you spot a wrong number or a broken link, tell us through our contact form. When a fact is wrong we fix it, and a report that changes in substance shows an Updated date under its byline.

How do updates work?

Regulators amend game rules and casinos change their tables. When a document we relied on changes, we update the report and the date with it.

What we do not do

We do not sell systems, we do not promise wins, and a commission never changes what a report says about a game's odds.
